Adventures in Baby Food Making

So for the 3.5 years it took to make our little monster I had fantasies of what motherhood was going to be like, waking up at 2am 4am and 5:15am every day was not one of them but oddly that's what happened. One of the ones I couldn't wait for was to make baby food! I love cooking for people and I knew I would love it for our little one. So I finally got to bust out the food processor and mix up some organic noshes for Sarah, it was so fun. Mushy moment alert...all I kept thinking about is how long I waited to do this and how from birth to toddler I would be making what my kiddo needs to grow...amazing! So far I've made squash and pear sauce, I know not much but I had to contain myself, I could have seriously gone crazy! Next up will be apple sauce and sweet potatos. She's also had rice cereal and banana and seems to like everything so far. I make big batches and freeze them in ice trays, when they're hard I take them out and store them in a zip lock freezer bag. I also have some containers that hold one serving and freeze those too. The girl still prefers boobie over everything but I think she'll be a good eater!!
